10th Battalion – November 1917
November 1 – ANZAC RIDGE (western Belgium)
Battalion moved forward to support position and relieved the 9th Battalion. The day was quiet and no casualties were received.
2-5.
Battalion supplied carrying and working parties, being frequently interrupted by enemy shell fire, both gas and high explosive. Casualties, however, were slight. On the afternoon of the 5th, the Battalion moved back to reserve position on Westhoek Ridge, relieving the 4th Battalion.
6-8.
Employed in improving and constructing accommodation.
9.
In the morning the Battalion was relieved by the 66th British Division and moved back to Halifax Camp.

November 10 – HALIFAX CAMP
Cleaning up. Re-equipping, clothing and bath.
11 – RENESCURE
Moved from Halifax Camp by bus.

13 – VAUDRINGHEM
Moved from Renescure by route march (20 miles). Three men fell out sick.

Battalion parade and inspection.

Battalion drill and specialist work. Afternoon recreation.

18 – BOURTHES
Moved from Vaudringhem by route march. No stragglers.

Re-adjustment of battalion. “Z” Company, raiding party of 140 men formed.
