6 June Thursday
Left Weymouth at 6 AM this morning arrived Liverpool at 4.30 P.M Went on board ship, had the pleasure of eating white bread. quite a luxury. after so long on rotten tucker.
8 June Saturday
Left Liverpool at 9 AM a convoy of 5 transports 8 destroyer American the place is infested with submarines and a vigalent watch is kept.
9 June Sunday
At 4.30 AM this morning the dirty old dog succeeded in torpedoing the next transport to us disabling her & she had to proceed to Liverpool under escort of 2 destroyers.
10 June Monday
A heavy sea running all, am feeling off colour all day. Passed through what is known as the Devils Pool
